I've been photographing weddings for eleven years. I still cry at almost all of them.
Not because I'm sentimental — though I am — but because I've spent a decade standing at the edge of the most important moments in people's lives, and I still can't believe I get to be there.
I'm based in Denver, Colorado. I shoot worldwide. I work alone, because I think weddings deserve a quiet presence, not a production crew. And I work with a very small number of couples each year, because every wedding I photograph gets everything I have.
My style is editorial and documentary in equal measure. I'll pose you when you need posing and disappear when you don't. I'll catch the moment you didn't know was happening and I'll make the posed portraits feel like they weren't.
